I've just stumbled on an old news item and was deeply saddened to here of the tragic life and death of Andew Dowd. I was at Brighton Grammar during the era of the Relatives and still remember one of the lines Rob Howard sang, "Picasso was an arsole....". I rowed in an eight with Rob Howard and Andrew Dowd...and I think maybe Simon Kain was also in that team. Hey Simon, saw you on Rock Quiz! The passage of time is an amazing thing.
I never really new Andrew that well, but clearly a really nice fun loving guy is my memory at school. It seems like a lifetime ago.
